Fashion Friday: Coats

By far, Winter fashion is my favorite. I love the layers, the leggings, and of course, the pretty coats!

Unfortunately, I live in Arizona where I hardly get a chance to wear one. That doesn't stop me from loving them though. Pea coats, trenches, wool, fur...I love them all!

Here's several cute wintery looks I'm longing to wear.

Don't you love all those cape's? They're so chic!

Clarisonic

My skin sucks. It's always kind of sucked, but for some reason, once I hit my 20's, it REALLY sucked. I thought acne was for teenagers?
I've seen a few different Dermatologist several times and have tried several different topical and oral prescriptions to help my skin. Some have helped a bit but I still would get a lot of break outs. Like, I-don't-want-to-leave-the-house-my-skin-sucks-so-bad breakouts or I-hate-my-own-face breakouts. It is one of the worst feelings in the world and it's not fair for anyone to have to feel that way.

When I first read about Clarisonic here, I knew I had to have one. I finally got a cute, pink Mia for Christmas, see it hiding under the tree up there? So far (knock on wood), it is the best thing that has ever happened to my skin. I could not love it more. My skin has cleared up immensely and I haven't had a break out in the 3 weeks I've been using it.
It came with a sensitive skin and normal skin face brush and 2 cleansers. I currently use the sensitive skin brush every night with either the acne cleanser, or my Clean & Clear face wash. I do still use my topical RX nightly along with taking an oral acne prescription.
My skin has obviously cleared up and is so much more even. Several nights now T has commented on how smooth my face is and how it never used to be that smooth (gee, thanks). I still have quite a bit of redness (scarring?) on my cheeks, but if this keeps up, I'd actually feel okay going makeup less in some situations. It's such a huge relief to leave the house in the morning feeling good about how my skin looks.

Wedding Wednesday: Treehouse Wedding

Yes, you read that right. A wedding, at a treehouse. How incredible would that be? Looks pretty darn awesome.
Get married under a canopy of tree's and twinkly lights, take some pictures in an enchanting treehouse, and share some homemade jam on warm biscuits.  I really love the casual food choices, complete with a food truck. Who doesn't love food trucks?! Grilled cheese and pie. That's my kind of wedding menu.

Do you hear the people sing?

It's official, I am a huge Les Miserables fan. My first memory of Les Miserables, was seeing the musical poster framed in my Aunts house, way back in 1995. That was all I ever knew of it until the trailer for the new movie came out. As soon as I saw that, I knew I would love it.
I received the book, original movie, and soundtrack for Christmas. I'm only about 1/2 way into the book, but I just saw the movie and loved it. Truly amazing. Yes, it had boring parts, it was a loooong movie! However, for the majority, it was just so beautiful. Chills and teary eyes beautiful. I would definitely go see it again. To top it all off, do you see Marius? So cute.

Resolution #7

#7 Get in shape. I'm not fat by any means but I could be in better shape. I do yoga twice a week and while I've definitely noticed that I've gotten stronger, I'm still not in the shape I'd like to be. I want what every girl wants; a flat stomach, cellulite free thighs, and a tight butt. Boobs too, but I'd have to buy those.
After reading this post about Barre classes, I'm going to give one a try. I'll continue to do my yoga and start doing more exercises around the house. I've got plenty of time before swimsuit season, right?

Resolution #6

#6 Go on a vacation with just T. It seems small, but in our 6 years together the only time we've gone on vacation alone was New York City in 2007. Every time we go out of town it's either to visit family, or is with family. I enjoy being them all, but I'd love to lay on the beach or explore the city with just T. I'm thinking Hawaii, Boston, NYC, Vermont, wherever. As long as we're together.
